As Portland celebrates Managing Director Lee Barr’s 10^th year in the role, the company was pleased to welcome Portfolio North magazine for a business interview with Lee.   The wide-ranging discussion looks back at Lee’s first decade managing the company, acknowledging the invaluable support and guidance provided by his predecessor, Portland founding MD John Hardy.  The piece examines the positive impact made through changes to the company’s structure, with the development of a strong management team.  The new-look management team using their skillsets to focus on areas of the business in which they excel, leaving Lee to focus on his role as Managing Director.   While celebrating the successes, achieved through the hard work of a dedicated, excellent team at Portland, Lee also spoke about the challenges faced throughout his time as MD and how the business has developed an increased resilience for the future.
